Dr. Kamran Asdar Ali, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Critical Pakistan Studies, was recently featured in a video where he presented his aspirations for Critical Pakistan Studies to be a high-standard, first-rate, and top-tier interdisciplinary source of information on Pakistan. Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

Digital Humanities Workshop

Following her involvement in Matt Cook's Digital Humanities workshop and faculty exchange, Ayesha Akram created her own Digital Humanities workshop series consisting of three separate workshops to further spread the knowledge and discipline of Digital Humanities curriculum and education. The first two workshops, titled "Training Workshop and Hands-on Tutorial on DH Tools, Parts 1 & 2," were presented to participants from several university campuses across Pakistan. The third workshop, titled "Contemporary Trends in Digital Humanities Research and Pedagogy," presented a more research based approach to Digital Humanities rather than a pedagogical approach of the first two workshops.
