Dr. Kamran Asdar Ali, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Critical Pakistan Studies, was recently featured in a video where he presented his aspirations for Critical Pakistan Studies to be a high-standard, first-rate, and top-tier interdisciplinary source of information on Pakistan. Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

Forman Christian College has issued a [Call for Papers] for the inaugural issue of the Forman Journal of Social Sciences! "The main objective of FJSS is to provide an intellectual platform for local and international scholars to promote original and valuable scholarship in the Social Sciences, including but not limited to subject areas of: Anthropology, Archaeology, Demography and Population Studies, Economics, Geography, Gender Studies, History, International Relations, Political Science, Psychology, Public Policy, and Sociology. FJSS welcomes original articles, review articles, and book reviews. All publications will be made available online. There are no submission or publication fees." Submissions are due by August 31st, with the first issue scheduled to be published on December 15th, 2021.
